You can enable voice mail function for an extension so you won’t miss any important call.
To enable voice mail function, login to admin center with guidelines below.
Click on “Intern” and click on extension you would like to enable voice mail function.
- Select the check box for “Active” to enable voice mail.
- Select “Login without PIN” if you would like to be able to listen to your voice mail without password. Else, you may key in PIN.
- Key in your email address to have your voice mails send to your email. You may configure to have those messages to be deleted after email sent by selecting “Delete message after E-Mail sent”
After voice mail enabled, you may choose when to capture a voice mail by forwarding your calls to voice mail.
Click on “Forwards” and choose “Voicemail” with options below :
- Always – Capture all calls as voice mail.
- Busy – if you reject the call.
- No response – you can set a timeline to forward the call into voice mail. Example : calls will be captured into voice mail if you didn’t answer within 15 seconds.
- Not available – capture voice mail if you are not available.
After u receive a voicemail, there are notification in and can be accessed in 2 ways:
In your email (need to be set by administrator)
In your mobile app > notification > simply press the voicemail icon OR dial *86 to hear to your voicemail
Whenever there are new voicemail, the voicemail icon will automatically appear in your dial screen
