With the creation of extensions and departments, we enable the PBX:


• To connect SIP phones to the PBX

• To manage PBX extension related features like:

- Call forwarding & rejecting

- Voice Mail Box

- To create "group calls" for incoming calls according the algorithms available by the Advanced Call Distribution ACD and  interactive Voice Response IVR.

• To organize PBX extensions in departments:

- The department allows different feature configurations as the parent PBX

- A department can have a different incoming call routing as the parent PBX

- A department can have its own administrator
